Billing Audit Review
The Billing Audit is your one stop shop for all things billing within Orion. From here you can review the billing settings for every level from Household down to specific Transactions.
While XY will be handling generating your billing, we ask that you monitor the below audits within the Billing Audit app to ensure accuracy. If there are any discrepancies please reach out to our team immediately.
Household Level Audits:
Not Ready - This will list out any new clients that have been added into Orion in during the current billing period. If you would like the clients included in the upcoming bill you will want to update their status to Ready to Bill. If the client will not be billed this billing cycle update the status to On Hold. Please also review all households set to On Hold to ensure that this is still the most accurate status.
Account Level Audits:
All Accounts: Review the Fee Schedule column to ensure that the fee schedule assignment is correct. If you need to make any corrections please fill out this form. We will automatically assign all now accounts to your firm's default fee schedule. If you would like to update the default please reach out to us at orion@xyinvestmentsolutions.com.
Recurring Adjustment: You can assign recurring credit or debit adjustments to accounts as needed. Please review this audit to ensure that these adjustments are still active.
Accounts Paid By And For: Review accounts that are set to be paid for/by other accounts. Please note that the account that is doing the paying must be set to have fees deducted directly from their account via the fee file and the account must have a balance as of the end of the billing period in order to be pulled into the bill correctly.
Asset Level Audits:
Excluded: You can set assets to be excluded from billing within Orion. For example, if the client holds a large value in a high yield money market asset that you are not managing you may wish to exclude the asset from the billed market value. You have the option of excluding the entire amount or a partial amount (by both $ and %).
