How do I integrate my Wealthbox CRM account with Orion?

You can integrate your Wealthbox CRM account with Orion by following these steps:

  1. Click on the the dots in the top right corner of your Wealthbox screen
  2. Navigate to Applications
  3. Select “Settings” next to “Orion.”
  4. Enter your Orion logon credentials.

Note: The connection between Orion and Wealthbox is linked by the contact’s full name (first and last) and then confirms the email. If the data does not appear, check that the first name, last name and email for the contact matches in Wealthbox and Orion.

After enabling the integration, you will find an “Orion” tab above the activity stream on a contact record. Assuming the required fields match between Wealthbox and Orion, you should see the account information populated within the Orion tab.


If the data does not appear, open the Household in Orion and confirm the name and email address match the details in Wealthbox.


From the “General” screen, scroll down to the “Contact” section to see the email field.

Q: Why isn’t my Orion account data showing in Wealthbox after enabling the integration?

A: The integration matches contacts using first name, last name, and email address. Make sure these fields are identical in both Wealthbox and Orion.

Q: Where can I view Orion data in Wealthbox after connecting the integration?

A: Once enabled and matched, an “Orion” tab will appear above the activity stream on the contact record page in Wealthbox, displaying synced account information.


How does it work?

You can now use the "Send To" menu from a contact record page within Wealthbox to send contact details to Orion. This integration lets you create new clients that are not yet in Orion and update existing Orion clients. When creating a new client, Wealthbox will automatically link the client between the two platforms after the user sends the client to Orion.

The user is required to select the Orion “Representative” on the Wealthbox “Send To Orion” screen. If the Wealthbox contact is linked to multiple Orion clients then the user will also have to select the Orion client they want to update.
